MOUTH MARKS
The Baker's Dozen was a contemporary art Exhibition set up by myself and twelve other fine art students. We were given a budget of 100 pounds to spend. This covered designing and printing fliers and posters, buying paint for the gallery space and general items for the private view.
'Mouth Marks' represents making an unconscious daily activity become visible. It is about discovering what a drawing can be. I am interested in making marks that are out of my control but that are coming from me. Presented on the floor, it shifts how we view film and drawing in an exhibition. I consider this piece a drawing, it is a spontaneous eruption of myself shown in it's most honest form.
